Community

We have a special interest is supporting the wellbeing of unpaid carers, older adults and people living with dementia. We also work with community projects helping to address important social issues such as mental health and social isolation.

Unpaid Carers

Our laughter-filled approach, are tailored to equip carers with essential tools and techniques to navigate the challenges of caring with more joy and positivity. We provide a space where they can have fun, relax, and simply be themselves for an hour; and leave feeling uplifted and refreshed, ready to carry on their caring role.

Older Adults

With a growing number of older people experiencing loneliness and lacking exercise, we've designed this session to help encourage gentle movement , boost vitality and provide a fun sociable activity. By engaging in shared laughter, participants experience the emotional benefits of social interaction, which help alleviate boredom and combat loneliness.

Dementia Services

Individuals living with dementia often face increased feelings of  anxiety and isolation. Our specially designed activities incorporate gentle movements, music, clapping and group laughter exercises to enhance emotional wellbeing, stimulate cognitive engagement and encourage social interaction in a joyful inclusive space.

A lot of caring is about the unspoken and invisible fears and worries that are constantly running in the background. Attending your laughter workshop  took me on a joyful fun adventure  which gave me permission to laugh with others and  connect with my emotions in a way that talking doesn’t.

Many participants said they enjoyed the session and felt relaxed afterwards. I have no hesitation in recommending Zen Laughter to any services seeking a dementia-friendly activity to enhance well-being and provide an engaging and uplifting experience for their service users. Many thanks to Jaycee for putting on this wonderful session.
