Jaycee has run laughter workshops for the South London and Maudsley NHS Trust both with Carers and staff groups. Her effervescent personality shines through and she works really well to read and engage her audience, so they have the best experience of the laugher workshop. From the reluctant to the unsure to the fully engaged participant, you can’t help but like her approach, warmth and enthusiasm for the laughter workshops. She is clearly passionate about what she does, and I would recommend her workshops to all.

Jaycee has a great positive presence that encourages people to overcome their own anxieties and to join in with the session that is uplifting, relaxing and empowering. The sessions help carers to destress, meet other carers to combat isolation and loneliness and  leave with improved wellbeing, ready to carry on caring. I would highly recommend Jaycee for any event for unpaid carers and the wider community. it is a joy to see her use her own personal experience of caring to improve the lives of other carers.

The sessions provided a space for carers to connect with others and using laughter to connect, relax and just be themselves for an hour.  Carers felt more relaxed, enjoyed connecting with others and found a new tools to add to their carers toolbox. We would recommended these sessions to other organisations to support the wellbeing of their service users as our carers found the session really valuable in providing them with  new tools to support them in their caring role.

Our clients had a great time - it was plain to see. One lady told us she'd love it to be offered on a prescription.  The laughter and smiles didn't stop when the session ended - lots of happy chatter about an afternoon well spent. Jaycee made everyone feel at ease.

Participating in a Zen Laughter session was an innovative way for our group to be ‘in the moment’ allowing them to focus on their capacity for joy, in whatever way they felt comfortable with. Our thanks to Jaycee for working with our Women’s Health Network to show that laughter, amidst the stresses of life, can make a huge difference to your outlook and wellbeing.

We were happy to have Zen Laughter deliver a session as part of our Staff Wellbeing Fair. Many of the staff commented that they felt more energised, less stressed and more positive after the session. I highly recommend Zen Laughter as a fun, uplifting activity to help staff manage their stress levels and promote positive mental wellbeing in the workplace

We’ve had really good feedback about the laughter yoga sessions – they’ve gone down a treat, thank you ever so much for making this much needed skillset available to Carers

At the time I was deep in carer PTSD and was suffering from a lot of muscle tension. The idea of laughing seemed alien to me. I found myself joining in, mirroring Jaycee's movements and the laughter she emits. There was solidarity in being there with other carers. I let a lot of deep grief go in that room. When we finished the session, I felt lighter and the pain in my neck and shoulders had eased.
